Details & Info

We’ve made three websites for this great nonprofit that helps small farmers in Oregon. The first, Oregon Farm Link, was one of the most complicated websites we ever built, and one that has done the most good. It connects farmers looking for land to farm on with landholders looking for someone to farm on their land. In addition, it serves as a resource library and job board. The website uses, among other things, front-end account creation, user filled forms that create posts on the site, google maps api integration, a custom blind email system similar to Craigslist’s, custom iconography, permissions-based access to parts of the site, and custom content searches. We also developed the Oregon Farm Link logo and brand.

The second website, Oregon Pasture Network, helps people find farmers who pasture raise animals, and also serves as a resouce for those farmers, with ways to join the program, a forum, and a video library of classes.

The third is Friends of Family Farmers’ Resource Library (coming soon). This is a searchable resource library for farmers of all kinds, helping them find loans, business planning information, tools for BIPOC farmers and beginning famers, and much more. We built the website and created custom icons for this project.
