AI is changing the world, at least at the moment. In the future, I could see it continuing to expand and alter everything, turning the world into a dystopian hellscape or, possibly, a utopia. Or, it could turn out to be a fad, not nearly as useful as people think, and collapse completely. Either way, right now, people are losing their jobs to AI, it’s creating songs and videos that are hard to tell from the real thing, and tons of money and resources are being thrown at it. I see many potential uses of AI, but more problems. So, I want to clarify how Ink Stained Creative uses, and doesn’t use, AI.
No Generative AI
We won’t use AI to code your website, design your logo, or run your marketing campaign. We don’t believe AI is as good at these things as a human, and even if it were, we don’t believe it should be taking human jobs or that it will ever have the creativity and artistry of a human. We also won’t use AI to generate written content, photos, or videos – again, humans do these things better with more creativity, and we don’t want to take their jobs.
Yes to AI Troubleshooting if it helps the Client
AI is becoming better and coding and troubleshooting than I am, personally. If I needed a coding project done, I’d hire a human coder. But if something breaks, I can’t figure out why, and it needs to be fixed right away, I will ask AI for help, because it will save the client money and get their website live faster. This is the only time Ink Stained Creative will use AI.
